Crane Valley Partnership Event Connects Business to Local Environment

20 march event

On March, 20th, 2025, the Crane Valley Partnership for Business successfully hosted a networking and engagement evening dedicated to connecting West London businesses with local green initiatives. Held from 4:30 PM to 7:30 PM GMT at the Crane Tap, Twickenham, the informal get-together provided a platform for businesses to explore how they can positively impact the community and the environment along the River Crane and Yeading Brook, specifically in support of the Smart Water Catchment initiative for 2025/26. Attendees enjoyed drinks and networking while hearing directly from local environmental groups about crucial projects and needs.

The event featured a roadshow format, allowing organisations like Habitats & Heritage, TCV, London Wildlife Trust, and Lampton Services to showcase diverse corporate volunteering and partnership opportunities. Businesses gained valuable insight into innovative green engagement strategies, ranging from tailored volunteering days and employee wellbeing programmes to local species adoption and green sponsorship. The evening successfully generated discussions on how corporate involvement can enhance brand reputation, boost employee morale, and generate sustainability content. The event demonstrated a strong desire within the West London business community to leverage their resources for tangible, positive change in their local environment.
